Written on a double page spread in a copy of the Shesharile Star, your eyes take note of a large advertisement. On one page, the symbol of Krath as the backdrop.
At its centre, a strong figure image of Lord Bancho Curr with their fur slightly messed up, a few battle injuries but standing victorious nonetheless within battle attire as it appears they look out upon a resolved conflict. A number of Krath soldiers standing resplendent, a few wounds of their own, saluting towards Curr. He seems to looks out over towards the horizon, the sight of an Imperial bastion burning in the distance casting a glimmer of orange light against the dying sunlight at the end of a busy day of fighting to protect Krath borders from adversaries.
Across on the other page, in gilded silver lettering:
On this day, the Shesharile Star gives praise to Lord Bancho Curr. Valued warrior, noble lord and embodiment of Krath virtues. It has been announced that Lord Curr is expected to undergo the ritual of ascension, a ceremony to be conducted by Lord Calgor Grim of the Order, whereby Lord Curr will, of their own decision, choose to depart this life and pass on to the next and be with Krath at their side watching over us. Their service has been long and arduous and now their rest comes. Their watch has ended. Lord Curr has expressed desire to undergo this most hallowed of events while the fire in their heart and strength of their soul still burns.
A celebratory event shall be hosted within the Halls of Order on Demonsgate in recognition of their deeds. Friends and family of the Ascending are expected to be in attendance along with honoured foreign dignitaries who may be keen to share a few tales before Lord Curr moves on.

Re: The Ascension Ceremony of Lord Curr
Clad in his old style Krath armour and robes, Bancho sits in silence in the center of the temple, meditating. There is a low drone as dozens of Order of Krath monks chant the age old Assention rites. The enchanting sounds echo throughout the temple. Bancho sits not cross legged on the floor in the style of the old monks, he is far too feeble fo that. He sits in a captains chair, obviously removed from an old BFF-1 bulk freighter for the occasion.
Bancho slowly and gradually came back to the conscious world as people gathered. The service droids were already passing out drinks to the visitors. Banchos vision was slightly impaired by a seemingly purple mist, a mist that only devout followers of Krath were capable of seeing. He couldn't yet discern any familiar faces, 'probably just curious onlookers here so far', he thought to himself.

Re: The Ascension Ceremony of Lord Curr
From behind, a briefly cautious dark red hand reached out, placing it on the shoulder of the grizzled veteran. He may have been First Paladin but even Lord Grim knew not to underestimate a veteran like Lord Curr. May have been getting on a bit but those aged Krath warriors could still teach a thing or two and could easily get one over on the younger blood.
A quiet whisper like voice breaking through the general murmur as the Devaronian smiled to address the Ascendant awaiting, kneeling in front of them in the midst of the purple haze.
"Well...didn't think I'd get to conduct one of these ceremonies for quite a while. It's a privilege to be conducting yours. Although in the years of ceremonies in this place none of them have featured a chair in the temple. Good to see you adding your own flavour to things."

Re: The Ascension Ceremony of Lord Curr
"Lord Grim! It has been too long since we shared company. It pleases me to have you at my side as my journey begins. The chair is out of necessity I'm afraid. Krath no longer needs these old joints to bend as well as they used to." Bancho said, rubbing his knees for emphasis.
Bancho stood to address the crowd, his vision now more clear. In as loud a voice as he could muster, he said, "Welcome friends! It's time to start! As the custom goes, all drinks and food are on me!" Returning to his chair he motioned for a service droid to bring him a Shesharile Ale.
