"Nope heard nothing about them I'm here as a pilot and anyone I don't know is an unknown." Correl said as he hails the unknowns on the comm.

Qardin knew they were ready for lift off. The ship's noises were getting louder and heavier.

"Well, here we go." He said quietly, letting his gaze find his way through the crowded room. He checked his seatbelt again, which was still tight around his waist. Q was ready to go, ready to lead the group as he was reading the map, ready to bring Krath another price to add to it's collection, if any was to be found. They were heading on a trip of which no one knew if the fore set goal would ever be reached. They were chasing a Myth, a legend, a ghost. The Tall Anzati didn't mind, he had time to spare, away from the long trips in hyperspace. Q really could use a quest like this, one were the risk of sudden death was to be found at the turn of a leaf. Oh, how he missed those days. The days were he would receive a discreet note with only a name, location and the reward received for finishing the job. The only difference was that this wasn't a job to fulfill on his own, he would have his fellow Krath at his side, some of which who were armed to the teeth. He himself only wore his two small scythes, Zamara and Azoera, and a small Imperial Munitions 22T4, received on a job. He had left his force pike at home, for he wasn't going to lose the one thing he had received from a certain very good friend. He wore his vest, as always, but his shirt and regular black pants had made way for the Krath uniform pieces. His Order of Krath pin had some smudge on it, but he cleaned it off right away, making it as shiney as it could ever be.

Finar noted the new arrivals in silence. After a few more minutes of patient waiting, during which time he sat perfectly still contemplating his innermost being and the touch of Krath upon his soul, they began to prepare for liftout. Quickly he strapped himself into his seat in case of any in-flight turbulance before closing his eyes and resuming his silent meditation.

Vod Ordoson, am prepared to assist, hatches closed, vents opened and we have containment tanks at 99% full. Lasers fully charged and nav comp is functional. By your command ner vod, ready for launch. Verdre said matter of factly, as least as far as Kal could tell, his assesment of some sentients mannerisms was still a work in progress.
Kal nodded his head that even while seated nearly brushed the over head equipment in the cockpit, which was designed for much shorter species. Kal slowly engaged the thrusters and engaged the inertial dampeners. The subtle vibration that hummed through the ship as the engines increased in power gave Kal calm feeling, like one on it's was home for the first time in ages. The embrace of space was something few truely learned to appreciate, and it was something Kal found himself longing for time and again. The cold vacuum was completely impartial. It held no resentment and gave no mercy. 'The Black' was home, it's dark spaces were a blanket to Kal it's pin points of white were each one a night light begging for attention, and soon Kal would be with them again. The vibration of the ship moved through Kal as he guided the vessel upward and outward. The thrum of the ship resonated deep within his being seeming to beat in unison with his own heart. He always felt this way when in the pilot's seat, and longed for the connection as soon as it ended. Moments passed or was it hours as Kal communed with the ship brushing it's instruments and commiting their location to memory. The take off was one of his smoothest yet and he dared anyone to even notice the ship was moving.
This one like this ship, ner vod, it knows just what to do. Kal said with a smile behind his durasteel mask. Then openning a channel to the others he said.
Vod and Ori'vod, we are away.

Checking ascent and instruments, Verdre reported the situation back to Vod Ordoson.

"Vod, we are leaving the gravity well now. I've laid in a jump for Empress Teta so we can head out at your convenience. We seem to be awaiting the other shuttle."

Reaching over to the relatively new comm system, he sent out a message:

"ES Kuros here, awaiting your arrival."

"ES Kuros, awaiting you arrival." The comm message was calm and collected coming from the Kuros which made Correl a bit tenative on the reply.

"ES Koros here, we are underway. Rendezvous in five." Correl stated firmly into the comm pickup.

The mandalorian pilot looked over at his co-pilot "Is that five minutes, five hours, or what? You really should be more specific," he kids as he pilots the shuttle towards the rendevous point where the two vessels would make formation.
