Keeto Tavern (IC Café RP thread)

Post by Qardin Fal-cona »

Greetings and welcome to the Keeto Tavern!

"Keeto Tavern, a great place to rest from a hard days work and relax with friends and colleagues located at Shesharile 6. We serve all drinks available in the galaxy.

*for Jawa Juice, step behind the counter.* the bartender whispers

Just order it at the counter and sit down, the customized droids will make sure you get your drink. For those who need a place to land their ship, there's a docking bay next to and behind the Tavern, just don't scratch my precious walls!

The rules can be found next to the restroom door."

RULES:

1. no firearms
2. No acting like you're a god. We're Krath, we all are gods, so you don't have to act like it.
3. No harming the bartender. please?
4. No gambling (while everyone can see it, step behind the curtain to play a game that rhymes with Rabacc.)
5. No Drugs
6. No talking about some other life you might have. (keep it in-character)
7. No using quotes, they're ugly, make it a conversation.
8. use color to show which is conversation

Enter the Tavern and enjoy your stay!

dragging big crates around, dropping them of somewhere, annoying customers, flying upon days without end, it can be tiring.

"I could use a drink." Qardin says to himself, as he finds his way to the surface of Shesharile 6. *perhaps that small tavern I once bumped into in my travels.* He thinks with a frown on his face. As he comes closer, he sees the small tavern with his way too large docking bay.

"AHA!"

The tall Anzati lands his Delta-class JV-7 escort shuttle QFS Totti on the spot nearest to the tavern, unbuckles his belt and stumbles his way out of his ship.
The door isn't far, so he needs a quick rearrangement of posture. Cracking his back and joints, he enters the Tavern.

He sees the Chiss bartender nodding towards him, so Qardin makes his way through the scum-filled tavern towards the counter.

"one Corellian rum please!" He sais, lowering his elbows onto the counter. He takes a stool, takes a seat and lowers his head above his drink, obscuring his shades-readied face.

If there was such a thing as a Galactic Chiss Detector, Grev'endar'togl obviously possessed a good one. Within hours of the tavern opening its doors, another Delta JV-7 touched down upon the pad, its lower hull scorched with small arms fire burns around the ramp area.

This shuttle, different than the first, was painted a matte black, with amber stripes accenting its wings and a single broader stripe on its underbelly. Ramp lowered, the underbelly stripe was repeated on the ramp, appearing to resemble a thin carpet of sorts. A logo emblazoned on the wings identified this ship as belonging to a member of Aliit Ar'Klim. On the side was carved in Minniseriat: [AK] Diplomacy in a deep red script.

Descending from the shuttle, Admiral Ar'Togl crossed the pad and entered the tavern. A Chiss male beginning to leave his prime years, he walked with a slight limp in his right leg. Wearing a simple flight suit zipped down to the belt, under which a black bodysuit can be seen, he took in his surroundings with a momentary gaze. This was clearly not the Kyorimut..

Finding a table near the door, he slumped into a chair.

As Qardin takes a sip from his drink, he hears the door opening. He turns his head towards the door and gazes upon a familiar face. A stern Chiss male walks into the bar and takes a seat near the door. The Admiral sat alone, so Qardin, a man known by the admiral, starts walking towards him, grabbing his drink in the mean time.

Hey admiral, what a pleasure to see you here. Qardin smiles. Care if i take a seat?

Qardin stirs his drink, waiting for the admiral's response.

Seeing the man approach, Grev raised his head a little.

"Qardin, I didn't see you there, sit on down and brink your drink. Hows logistics? Should have figured that ship was yours, makes sense."

Enters the bar, moving stiffly after a long hyperspace jump prior to landing, walks straight to the bar and gets a drink. Turns around and stiffens (even more) as soon as he sees one of his superiors, unsure how to react.

A young looking male in the robes of a cleric of Krath enters the bar arguing heatedly with a rather large Klatoonian female who seems to be enjoying baiting the young man. They both seem to be dressed as pilots the female more so than the young man.

"But Arlunia! I was flying in control! That was the point of letting it get out of control to see how far it could be out and how long it would take to get it back under control!" The young man exclaimed to the grumbling Klatoonian.

"if I have told you once Correl! I have told you a thousand times. A good pilot is not one who takes chances! Now remember my words to you when Lord Perceptor introduced us." Arlunia stated.

Correl seems to deflate dramatically when Arlunia brings up that line again. Almost as if the Lord Perceptor was right behind and he was afraid to turn for fear he might be there. But then he brightens up and smiles at Arlunia.

"HA! Then the next time you need your butt saved then I am not going to come crashing in as fast as I possibly can. Which means you might die," He pauses for a moment with an innocent look then continues quickly,"but on the other hand it might just be that I actually beat your record on that simulation!" Correl finishes happily heading to the back where some quiet booths are at. While Arlunia just stares at Correls' back in disbelief then starts shaking her head sadly. Sighing profoundly she follows Correl to the booth near the back.

Sighing at the sight of other pilots, he moves over to swap stories.

"Its perfectly acceptable to take risks as a pilot, in fact we take a risk every time we get in the cockpit. The real challenge is knowing when to take the risk and when not to take the risk, and which risk too take, right, tra'vod?"

Bursting through the doors of the place listing of tedious logistical sounding bantha fodder to his right hand man, a large man whome most details are hiddin by his Heavy battle armour and helmet, who falliwed close behind, mandro steered himself twards that bar in need of some thing to lubricate his endless to do list. seemingly oblivious to his surroundings

Watching the room carefully Correl sees the Mandolorian coming towards him and speaking of taking risks, but his attention is fully on his Klaatoonian companion who seems ready for a fight.

Grabbing for Arlunia's arm to hold her from shooting first Correl replies,"So true, so very true. But my companion here thinks we should stick to the rules of flying. Granted in the real world what I did might not work, but you have to try first to see if it can be done." He looks again to the Klaatoonian and sighs in relief as she relaxes hearing another pilot instead.
