Kalzel's large eyes narrowed to slits as he observed Saheen's...curious tactics. Not even one card in and he already decided to fold. What kind of a strategy was that? Was he playing for time? Was he so sure he could still win three rounds after this?
Slowly, ever so slowly had Kalzel reached into his hand and pulled out the 2 card.
"So, since I have...two...and you have...zero...do I win?"

Saheen looked up at the question. He had read the rules and because of his good hand he had decided to stay to see if Kalzel could beat his hand.

"I stayed. I'm waiting till you done doing whatever your doing for the round before we show our cards." replied Saheen as he let out a chuckle at Kalzel's confusion.

He looked around for a chronometer to see what time it was. It seemed to be from what he saw of the Chrono that it was 14:35 GST. He stretched his arms and waited for Kalzel's response.

Allowing himself a quick glance inside his rulebook as well, Kalzel grinned.
"Why would we ever reveal our cards? It's what you put down on the table that counts. Your hand is just there for you to have better control of the cards you put down..."

Saheen then held a hand out and took the rulebook from Kalzel's hand. He read again and then frowned.

"I guess the I read the rules wrong well I'm going to take that back if that is all right? I'm going to lay this down." said Saheen as he set down the -2 in his hand and picked up a card from the main deck.

Saheen was so embarrassed that he had read the rules wrong. He always did this when he learned a new game. Either way though, he was still feeling pretty good about his hand. He had read them thoroughly now and was sure he would make no more mistakes. He was glad that Kalxel had caught him before they got to the planet though.

"Thanks for catching me. That would have been bad at the casino." said Saheen finally.

"Aaalright! So, let's pretend the first round never happened and..."
Kalzel's hands started deftly moving around the board.
"Well then, one card down on the table from the main deck, so now I have a 5 on the board, and I choose to raise by using the 2 in my hand, seven in total, your turn!"

Saheen watched carefully as Kalzel did his turn he finished with seven in total and told him it was his turn. The card he drew earlier turned out to be 6. He put his 10 down and counted up through his head. He had eight now. He pointed at Kalzel to signify that it was his turn. He was getting drowsy. He closed his eyes for a moment after he said, "Your turn".

"Don't mind if I draw then."
One card later, Kalzel's sum was now resting at 12, the newly added 5 taking its place next to the others. Deciding to rush the round, Kalzel once again played a card from his hand, this time the 7.
"And that should add up to 19 if I'm not mistaken. Draw!"

Saheen grew happy with how this game was going. He just hoped Kalzel didn't have a one. He reached over and grabbed a card. He then put a 7 from his hand down on the table. He would play his winning card next round if everything went right.

"Your turn. I can't wait to take a nap." he said the Kalzel.

Saheen closed his eyes again and almost fell asleep. He was super tired now and was hoping they could finish this quickly so he could go lay down. He had tears in his eyes from being tired and yawning so much. He stretched his arms as far as he could to keep himself awake for at least a little while longer.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you..."
Please be one. Please be one. Please be-
"Six. Oh well."
Quickly shuffling his cards back into the deck, he rose from the ground. It was an expectable outcome.
"Oh right, one more thing before you go to sleep. You need to put down a card from the main deck at the start of your round. Other than that, I think it was by the books."
With a final smirk, Kalzel returned to his seat, kicked back and closed his eyes. Loedorvia was close and getting some sleep beforehand was a must.

Saheen had won like he thought he would. He was finally ready to sleep. He walked to a row of seats next to the wall of the ship and played down across them.

"Nobody wake me up unless it is totally important." said Saheen with a growl because he had now become officially grumpy.

He closed his eyes and drifted into a long sleep. Little did he know was that he would wake up 15 minutes later because of a force vision that would put him in tears.
