Thank you for showing interest in Krath Roulette. If you are not familiar with roulette, please read this post carefully.

Firstly, please be aware that Star Wars Combine is rated PG-13. Gambling is something that has different rules in different places across the world. While real-life gambling is usually only for adults (18+ or 21+ depending on country), I'd like to welcome anyone who wishes to take their Star Wars Combine wealth for a little gamble. I'd like to stress that there is no real life money to be made here, in any way, shape or form. You can only gamble with the allowed currencies listed below.


Posting your bets

• Please use the Krath Roulette tool to help you post your bets in the accepted format.
• Post your bets in this thread, not the in-character thread.

Roleplaying guidelines

• Game Master instructions are written in present tense, and are to be considered information passed to you out-of-character (even in the in-character thread). You may use this information when posting your in-character contributions.
• Your posts must be written in past perfect tense, as is a common tense used in Freestyle RPs on these boards.
• If you wish to parttake in Krath Roulette, you must have introduced your character to the gambling droid. However, you are free to roam the casino and enjoy its entertainment at your own will. I would appreciate if you didn't completely hijack my thread, though.
• Once you have introduced yourself, and the roulette droid has acknowledged your participation, you can place your bets. Please use the Krath Roulette tool to help you post your bets in the accepted format.

Krath Roulette rules

• The only accepted currencies for acquiring chips are Republican Credits and Nova Crystals. Forum Points may become available later as a currency to buy chips.
• You must have purchased chips in order to be able to place bets. You purchase chips directly from Jools Noctru and you can also cash them back in for Credits.
• Chip rate is set at 1,000 per chip. When acquiring chips with Nova Crystals, you will receive a rounded amount of chips (rounded to the nearest 1,000 value).
• Your chip amount is managed by Jools Noctru, and you can request a balance statement from her in a private message.
• Roulette results are generated by the forum's Dicemod plugin, using a die with 37 sides.
• Your bets must be in the format generated by the Krath Roulette tool. Any other format is ignored.
• You must post your bets from the tool in this thread.
• The results of your bets are posted by Jools Noctru in this thread.
• You must act out the result of your bet in the in-character thread.

How roulette works

• Placing inside bets is either selecting the exact number of the pocket the ball will land in, or a small range of pockets based on their proximity on the layout.
• Players wishing to bet on the 'outside' will select bets on larger positional groupings of pockets, the pocket color, or whether the winning number is odd or even.
• The payout odds for each type of bet are based on its probability (see Krath Roulette tool).
