Your action failed, but essentially it has bought you time anyways.
Seth's foot aimed true at the man's groin, but got caught between his strong legs in a reflex before hitting target. This did slow down the man, as he was now a leg's length away from Seth, unable to reach his throat while clamping Seth's foot.

Seth was running out of options. He started desperately grabbing for something to assist him, grasping at anything he could find. Dust, a rock, a pipe, a rat, anything. He needed something to continue to either distract or injure this bulky beast before him.
