There are several special Nova Crystals that have been minted for special occasions. These are listed here along with id numbers for checking if you are getting the genuine item.
First Nova Crystal

This is the first Nova Crystal ever produced, and given to the Chairman of the IGBC at the time, Ellias Aubec.
Y13 Celebration Nova Crystal

These twenty Nova Crystals were minted to celebrate the 13th year of new calendar. Ten were reserved for Krath citizens, and the other ten were auctioned off to the public.
Cathar Restoration Nova Crystal
ID(s): 3555131 – 3555162
These thirty Nova Crystals were minted to celebrate the final touches to the restoration of Cathar, rebuilding the cities to provide a better lifestyle for all Cathar. Fifteen were made publically available through auctions, another seven were provided for Cathars through a raffle, six were reserved for Krath citizens. The final two were sent to the two recycling groups involved, Outback Industries and Ayervon Recycling Enterprises.
Y14 Celebration Nova Crystal

These twenty Nova Crystals mark the Year 14 celebrations around the galaxy. This year an external consultant was approached to aid in the cutting of these crystals; Varfarius Ord. With this consultant receiving one Nova Crystal as payment, a further four were released to Krath citizens and the remaining fifteen were auctioned off to the rest of the galaxy.
Krath Expo Celebration Nova Crystal

These twenty Nova Crystals were commissioned for the inaugural Krath Expo at the beginning of Y17. Several were given out as rewards for various events during the Expo while others were auctioned off to various sentients around the galaxy.
