The Legion Marches

At the start of day 253, the office of the Emperor released a report documenting the first extra-national military operation the Holy Krath Legion has engaged in since year 17. Legion forces, accompanied by the Emperor and the First Paladin themselves, arrived in the Serroco system to provide military support to Endor Pact allies Czerka Corporation and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Early intelligence reports from these allies indicated heavy engagements against Son-Tuul Pride and other Shadow Dominion heretics. Krath officials indicate that the order to deploy to the Serroco system came approximately 14 days ago with Legion forces arriving in the early hours of day 243 to reinforce Endor Pact efforts in the system.
KrathNet media footage obtained from the engagement appeared to show the exceptional speed and ferocity by which Legion forces deployed, utilising superior tactics against the lumbering corvette assets of Son-Tuul. The timely arrival of the Legion proved decisive, effectively neutralising heretical forces of the Shadow Dominion and helping to deliver a swift and decisive end to the conflict in what could have otherwise drawn out into further losses on all sides. Within days of the entrance of Krath Forces enemy forces appeared to make a full retreat, with scouts reporting no signs of enemy contacts for over 48 hours. Reports indicate that Endor Pact forces suffered modest losses until the arrival of Legion forces, turning the tide as Krath added the finishing touches to the tally with over 150 heretic vessels destroyed including a number of auxiliary corvettes and gunboats. Intelligence analysts are following up as to the long term impact of these losses on future operations launched by the Shadow Dominion, which has historically had a weak economic infrastructure.
Field reporters had an opportunity to interview Pilus Prior Braki Bafor who serves as the commander of the Qel-Droma United Assembly and he had this to say about Legion operations in the system: “I couldn’t be more proud of our ever fervent Legionnaires who so eagerly met the heathens head on; their cunning performance is a stark reminder for the rest of the galaxy. When the [Holy Krath Legion] shows up, you go home.”
Following the return of the Legion task force from Serroco, the First Paladin and Emperor hosted a press conference broadcast from the Tetan Palace. Kicking off the conference, the Emperor, his Majesty Talak Kasra, was asked about his thoughts on the results of the operation to which he stated “Krath has a long history of conflict, not knowing the taste of defeat on the battlefield in many years indeed. When the call to action was issued by Czerka Corp and the Confederacy we knew that it was time for the Legion to make itself known to the wider galaxy again. We arrived and in short order established such dominance on the battlefield as to halt the engagement entirely, bringing an end to what would otherwise have been a drawn out bloodbath, costing even more brave souls their lives. It was an honor to fight alongside members of the Pact and we look forward to future operations.” At the closing of the press conference, the ever-honorable First Paladin Calgor Grim gave a sermon to the victory of Lady Krath and her allies, culminating in a quote which has been ringing throughout the Empire since the conference came to a close: “[…] we are the fire of Righteousness, bringing deliverance to heretics and savages who would plague this galaxy; against those who would seek to harm Krath and her allies! When confronted by such foes, our victory is always assured!”
KrathNet News Update – Lord Zilak to step down
The Krath government confirmed the formal resignation of former Lord Imperator Zilak Pindall in a statement outside the Shesharile Royal Palace earlier today.
Taking time to praise the former lord for their services to Krath, a government spokesperson advised that:
“[Zilak] has taken the difficult decision to step down from the high council to pursue personal endeavours. We would like to thank him for his services to the Empire and wish him well.”
Since taking office over a year ago (KrathNet article), former Lord Zilak has been credited with a number of strategic and organisational innovations to the Krath military, with the reinvigoration of the Holy Krath Legion and introduction of a new task force system which has been hailed by military officials as helping to further improve Krath’s military response capabilities.
His work on advanced military theory and deep insights of Krath combat capabilities over the last 13 months has helped highlight strengths as well as pinpoint areas for further improvements which will continue to benefit the defence of the Empire against all who would threaten it.
At this time, no further details have been announced as to a future successor for the title.
KrathNet News Updates – Year 25
Greetings and welcome to KrathNet news.
Our top story today sees the departure of Lord Cuyan Hulo, who has stepped down from his position to spend more time with his family. Lord Hulo was elevated to the position of Lord Aedile five years ago, after a very successful career as part of Choruk Metalworks and soon took over much of Krath logistics and resource management.
His successor, new Lord Aedile Brimshank Rivers has assumed the mantle of leadership having served as a senior official within mining. In a statement from the Tetan Royal Palace, Emperor Kasra recognised the contributions:
“Both as Emperor and Lord Imperator I have had the distinct honour and privilege to witness the growth of many a Krath citizen into their own, watched some rise, some fall and others merely keeping the status quo. Lord Rivers and Lord Hulo both exemplify the best that our glorious empire has to offer: pride, determination, and a willingness to put their nose to the grind and get the job done, no matter how tedious or difficult.
“Both of these fine gentlemen, as well as every Krath Lord in existence today are living proof that nobility is not borne in one’s blood, nobility is borne in their actions and words. As each one of us passes through our days, I would urge you all to consider that one day you too could join the ranks of the Lords, it is a path open to all citizens who demonstrate bravery, loyalty, and determination. I look forward to each new day I get to watch the people of Krath grow, and look forward to the day that yet another new Lord is chosen by our Lady.”
As Lord Aedile Rivers was presented with the official robes of state, he took to the podium to address the cheering crowd.
“I stand before you today, deeply honoured and profoundly humbled by the great responsibility and immense honour that has been bestowed upon me. I never imagined that a simple miner from the depths of the Outer Rim would one day be standing in the grandeur of this hall, raised to the noble rank of Lord Aedile.
I am but one of many who have toiled in the shadows, unseen and often unappreciated, yet each of us contributing in our own small way to the greatness of the Krath Empire. It is for them that I accept this title, not for myself alone, but for every miner, labourer, and unsung hero who has given their sweat and blood to build and sustain our Empire.
I pledge my undying loyalty and service. I will uphold the values and traditions of our Empire, and I will endeavour to bring honour to this noble rank. May the Krath Empire endure for millennia, and may we all continue to shine brightly as beacons of strength and unity in the galaxy. Thank you.”

In defence news, Lord Imperator Zilak announced preparations for the Krath War Summit later this year.
Military experts and officers from across Krath are expected to attend a special symposium on the planet of Kathol as part of a three-day conference. The event is expected to cover high level strategic planning, tactical doctrine and the continued escalation of galactic conflicts, as well as Krath defence preparations against all who might threaten the Empire.
Citizens on Kathol have already begun to witness the preparations as the Holy Krath Legion have been observed rehearsing for the grand military parade which is expected to feature as part of the proceedings along with an aerial display from the ace pilots of the Purple Glaives display squadrons.
In a statement from the office of the Imperator:
“This summit is an excellent opportunity to discuss tactics, assess our tactical superiority over our rivals, as well as demonstrate our presence to reassure the people of Kathol and the rest of the Empire that our military is in tip-top shape!”
In further administrative and government news:
After a long time of peace and prosperity Emperor Talak Kasra announced a new era for all citizens of Krath sectors.
As of this day The Krath is renamed into the Krath Empire. It was a reaction to a galaxy wide upheaval with many smaller groups and factions rejoining into bigger associations. Some even disappeared completely. Like a wildfire it spread throughout the galaxy shaking at foundations of even the biggest governments.
A government source had this to say:
“By reorganising the operations of Krath, we have improved processes and removed elements holding onto old outdated ways within our various departments. We’ve already seen the benefits of these changes as it’s allowed us to further expand our operations without as many needless restrictions. We’ve seen other governments trying to do the same in their territory and well, there’s a lot of inefficiencies outside the borders but not in ours, especially thanks to this!”
To stand strong and fierce against potential dangers and riots from the outside, the Krath was reformed into an Empire again. Giving more power to all subgroups and at the same time taking them closer into the shining light of Krath herself.
We were ensured that for most of us citizens this transition will not change the our daily life. Although smaller difficulties can’t be prevented in the beginning of this new age of Krath, influence, productivity, caring for all Krath members, securing borders and spreading the will of Krath will be streamlined due to it.

The Deep Automation Mining Nexus, DAMN, has joined the ranks and is from now on delivering the gifts from the earth directly into our factories and production hubs in all our sectors. DAMN has made a name in the galaxy as one of the finest suppliers of raw materials and precious metals.
After several meetings and discussions between our Krath Lords and the leadership of DAMN a treaty was formed to incorporate DAMN into the Krath Empire. The details of the agreement are currently classified, however the corporation will now be placed under the authority of newly appointed Lord Rivers.
We are therefore looking eagerly towards a bright and shining future with many new faces on our side!
